If you have a complaint about your utility bill or services, we request that you contact your utility company first. If the problem is not resolved, you may file an informal complaint with the Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC), the state agency responsible for regulating public utilities in Kansas. Complete and submit the online form below to request the Commission’s Office of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection to begin an investigation on your behalf.

Before you begin, please review the list of utilities under KCC regulation. We do not regulate most electric and water cooperatives, municipalities, wireless or long distance telephone providers, cable companies or internet providers. If you are currently disconnected or are concerned your service might be disconnected, please call our office at 1-800-662-0027 instead of submitting your complaint online.

Inquiries must be submitted by the customer of record or a party authorized with the utility company to discuss the account.
